This Free Try at Home Ring Preview Service Makes Jewelry Shopping So Much Easier
Not sure if a ring is right for you? Can’t decide which style you like best? Are you looking to purchase a beautiful engagement ring or wedding band online but want to see it in person first?
Don’t sweat it, making jewelry decisions can be a tough one. So why not take the pieces home and see how they feel with them for a few days before making your pick?
A home ring preview service is the way to go if you’re unsure about rings and want to make sure you feel confident that the piece is perfect for you. The super easy service gives U.S. customers the option of choosing up to three designs and experiencing them as 3D replicas from your home. The replicas are realistic rings that mirror the look and feel of Allurez engagement rings. You have seven days to try on the samples (have it on at home, ask your partner, ask your friends, take some selfies) and then return the samples. Each sample box also comes with a complimentary ring sizer.
Return the replicas within 7 days with a prepaid return label that each customer receives and once you decide on your ring, go ahead and purchase the one you like. The steps are as easy as 1,2,3.
The home ring preview is absolutely free but there is a $50 hold per ring on each customer’s credit card until the rings are returned. If the replica rings are not returned within 7 days the credit card is charged.
A replica ring mirrors the look and feel of our engagement rings. The program ensures that you experience your ring at home so you can decide the right ring for you. Our replica rings are made from sterling silver and cubic zirconia. We offer replica rings between size 6 and 7. Typically you should receive your replica ring within 2-7 business days. However, availability of styles may result in a longer waiting period.
All styles from our home preview are available in white alloy metals only, and most engagement rings and bridal sets in the home preview come with a round shape center stone. The first step is to choose a ring type: engagement ring, wedding band or bridal set.
Next you choose your style: antique style, sidestone accented, halo, pave or solitaire. If you’re including a sidestone, you must pick a shape for it: pear, round, marquise or princess.
How much?
The home ring preview is absolutely free but there is a $50 hold per ring on each customer’s credit card until the rings are returned. If the replica rings are not returned within 7 days the credit card is charged. There is no obligation to purchase a ring once you’ve previewed it.
If you’re a fan of the British royal family, then look no farther than Princess Beatrice for engagement ring inspiration. The royal, who announced her engagement to businessman Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in September through a statement from the Duke and Duchess of York, has a flashing engagement ring that features a larger round diamond in the center, flanked by two baguette diamonds on either side. The ring has a similar cut and design to Queen Elizabeth II’s engagement ring.
Another royal to draw inspiration from is Prince Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle.
“In a time where social media is the prime focus of millennials, people are looking to celebrities and influencers as inspiration for different ring styles,” says an expert from James Allen. “A good example of this would be Meghan Markle. As soon as a picture of her sparkler was released to the public, we saw a shift to three-stone engagement rings.”
If you’re interested in trends, StyleCaster breaks down this fall season’s biggest engagement ring trends, according to jewelers.
One popular trend is vintage halo. Shane Co. VP of Merchandise Alicia Davis explained, “Historically, one of the primary reasons brides have leaned towards a halo for their engagement ring is to create a larger, more sparkly look for their diamond. This Fall, as the personalization trend continues, brides are looking for more unique halos to stand out amongst their friends. The vintage trend allows them to still have that glamorous ring, but with a more unique feel to it.”
Another popular style is pave bands.
“While pavé has always been one of the most popular settings, we see this style continuing to grow in popularity,” a representative from James Allen said. “Pavé will continue being the go-to setting throughout Fall 2019 and even into early 2020 for the person that wants a little extra sparkle.”
